  1. What are your store hours?

    Our hours are Monday through Friday from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

  3. Are appointments required?

    Yes and no. Appointments are only required for alterations, steamings, tuxedo fittings, and any of our on-site services. You do not have to make an appointment to view dresses or select tuxedos, but we do encourage it. Setting an appointment allows us focus on your needs and to serve you better. Walk-in customers are always welcomed, but please keep in mind that customers with an appointment are served first.

  5. How long should I expect my first visit to be?

    Usually your first visit will last from 1 to 1.5 hours.  Subsequent visits are usually 1 hour or less.

  7. Do you rent dresses?

    No.  Our dresses are for sale only.  The only items available for rental at Carolyn Allen's are tuxedos.

    We accept Visa, Master Card, and Discover.  We also accept debit cards that have the Visa or Master Card logo on them.

    No.  All sales are final.  This policy is consistent with the industry standard for bridal and special occasion apparel.

    No.  We are a local family-owned business.  This allows each of our customers to get the individual attention that they deserve and not feel like they are just another face in the crowd at a corporate chain.
