  1. Is cleaning included with preservation?

All gowns that are preserved are thoroughly cleaned first. This includes spot cleaning and extra attention to hemline dirt.

  3. How long does it take for cleaning and preservation?

Cleaning (with and without preservation) typically takes 3 to 10 weeks. These estimates include time in transit and fluctuate throughout the year; the busier the wedding season, the longer it can take for your gown to be processed. Rush service is available, if needed.

  7. When do I need to decide whether or not I want my dress preserved?

You can decide at any time! But keep in mind that there is a better chance of removing stains the sooner they are cleaned. You do not need an appointment to have your gown preserved. Just bring it in or call us to place your order if you need your dress picked up. We can also mail or fax you an order form.

  9. What items can I have preserved with my dress?

Almost anything! The items we most often see included are: headpieces, veils, garters, shawls, purses, gloves, moneybags, handkerchiefs, ring pillows, shoes, programs, and invitations. Just keep in mind that these items may be included on a ‘space permitting’ basis and may make it necessary to upgrade to a larger viewing box, especially if you include large items.

  11. My dress has a very long train. Do you have larger boxes?

Yes! While the majority of bridal gowns fit into the standard sized viewing box, there are larger sizes available for an additional charge. Typically, a larger box is only needed if you have a very full skirt, a very long train, or both. Also, if you include large items with your dress such as a crinoline or a silk bouquet. We also offer the option of having your headpiece and veil, detachable train, silk bouquet, or slip boxed separately from your gown (also additional).

  13. Can I order my gown preservation online?

Yes! We now offer a secure online order form so you can set up your preservation at your convenience. Just fill out the online form, print a pick-up ticket after you submit the form, and bring it with you when you travel to Orlando. After your wedding, place everything you want to have cleaned and/or preserved in your garment bag, fill out the the pick-up ticket, securely attach it to the garment bag, and take it to your hotel's bell-stand. Then give us a call to let us know your gown is ready for pick up, and we will take care of the rest! If your hotel is not within our service area you will need to bring your gown into our store. You do not need an appointment.
